Here are the pictures of the Ribbon Duvet that I have been working on for 3 weeks.

Just so you don't think I have been lazy, I have been working on a very unique order. Three weeks ago I started working on weaving hundreds of yards of ribbon to make sheets of fabric that I could then cut patterns of tulips to applique onto 9 28x32'' blocks to make a California King Size Duvet cover. I will take pictures of my progress and post. It has been a real challenge.

I am also getting ready to do a 2 day festival in the little town that I live in. I did it last year for the first time and it was fun and very successful. I only hope it isn't as hot as it was last year.

My granddaughter loves to be my model. Not too long ago I made several tutus and she had so much fun playing in the yard in them, getting her picture taken. I'm so thankful I get to have her with me during the day. It's fun to play at home and watch her grow. Being a grandma is my favorite job!

Cowgirl and Cowboy Outfits

Check out my latest creations on Etsy! Each outfit is size 18mo. I have saved this fabric for probably 2 or 3 yrs. and finally found the perfect time and iron on, so I whipped it

up and found it was so perfect. Too bad I didn't buy more of the cowboy and girl print.

My greatest thrill is creating something new and fun and if it gives me a little bit of a challenge, I am in heaven. I hope you can find something in your life like that. I hope you don't mind me sharing mine.

Happy 2010 To My Many Customers and Friends

After almost a year I am ready to get back to my blog. I have been very busy with everything from doll clothes to wedding gowns, from designing to alterations, and then when the economy went south I started an Etsy shop and realized I had not spent any time on my blog.

I will give you my etsy name: KidsBoutique, I have Quilts and Girl Dresses on there right now. I still have many of the items from this blog but many new things too. I should have new pictures ready by next week.

Many of you have asked for American Girl doll size clothes so I am busy making those, plus barbie doll clothes and Ken! I will also have 12 inch doll clothes, diapers, doll diaper bags, and soft doll.
